Peter Vinton, our Classics officer would like to encourage all classic Finn sailors to prioritise 2 events this year, the CVRDA event at Roadford on 14/15 July where we always have good competition, a good welcome and significant over catering by Alan to make any Finn sailor happy! The second event will be the Finn Inlands at Oxford which we hope to promote as the Classic Finn Nationals. We encourage both Classics and Classic with carbon to attend and will award prizes to each.

I hope to have my Jeremy Rogers hull 192 ready for the Inlands. Quite some work to do including a redeck. I hope to sail with a wooden Bruder mast As a real classic.

Looking at the register I reckon I remember this boat when it was owned by Martin Scarth at Maylandsea Bay, it was a beautiful boat. If you get it finished in time we can have a competition between two Bruder rigs which would be good!
