I have For Sale my Wooden Finn K472.
This is a Warwick Boat built in Warsash in 1979 for Rodd Carr.One of the last wooden Finn’s built and glued together with Epoxy.
This boat was in great condition when I bought her but I wanted to bring her more up to date.
She is currently half way through a Full refit. The Hull has been faired and painted with all the rubbing strakes sorted to the modern rules.
The Decks have been 90% rubbed down and all fittings and flooring removed. A modern Mast Gate has been fitted and the front bulkhead modified to suit.
My plan was to finish her and then race as a Classic with Carbon, but time has put a stop to this so unfortunately she needs a new owner.
The decks need the sanding finished and then all the fittings putting back on. I have quite a few already.
She has a Launching trolley and a complete Needlespar Ali Blacktop Rig and 3 White sails’ for those who want an original option.
She is lying on Hayling Island in a warm factory and is ready to go.
