British Finn Finn Travellers Trophy 2024.

Another great year of Finn sailing participation in the UK.  Seventy-nine sailors representing thirty-one sailing clubs took part in the 2024 British Finn Travellers Trophy events. This year’s events were held at Hayling Island SC, West Riding SC, Stone SC, Solway SC, Northampton SC, Bosham and Warsash SC. The strength of the depth of the British Finn fleet is demonstrated by the fact that only John Greenwood won more than one event, winning the Masters at Stone SC and the Inland championships in Northampton SC. All the other events were won by different sailors.

Overall winner of the 2024 Travellers Trophy, John Mackie takes the trophy for the first time, he also took the Grand Master trophy.  John sailed in 6 of the seven events, only missing out on the event in Bosham. Howard Sellars took the Legend title, Martin Hughes was second overall taking the Great Grand Master, who along with Roman Khodykin (Master) took their respective titles for the second consecutive year.

All these trophy winners receive an award of £100.00 as a contribution towards their entry to a Finn World or European Championships in 2025.
