Hi Peter
Thanks for your work on this, I think same again next year is probably the best plan, consistency might help to build numbers… though I’m open to other ideas if suggestions come in.
I think the associate membership for those only with classics is a great idea and I know the other Finn sailor at my club is interested in this if he has the time to travel to events like oxford in the future.
Cheers,
KeithAzimuthParticipantCertainly looks that way in the gold cup pictures I’ve seen – fantasticas everywhere! I do wonder if the cut-away gunwhales might just be a great marketing ploy as you can’t help noticing the fantasticas whereas it’s much more difficult to work out which make the other boats are.
AzimuthParticipantHi Paul
I might be interested in your mast, can you let me know numbers either here or to keithtunstill(at)me dot com
Thanks
KeithAzimuthParticipantThanks John – I’m glad it’s not just me! Sounds like we’re both heading toward a sailing club armed with a candle at the weekend!
Cheers
KeithAzimuthParticipantHi Both,
Many thanks for your thoughts! I think my problem is the gate at deck level rather than the foot – althought I will try to check this on land at the weekend.
Think I will try candles first – easy and cheap! Hadn’t heard of ptfe sheets/film so that’s a useful idea to have as back up – thanks!
Did some more googling after posting last night – other possible options I found were graphite spray/powder (for locks) and ptfe spray – anyone used these?
Cheers,
KeithAzimuthParticipantNow sorted – thanks All!
