Classic Finn feedback

This year I decided to concentrate on 2 events, the CVRDA meeting at Roadford and the BFA Finn Inlands at Oxford which would also be the Classic Finn Nationals.
The Roadford event was held on a very hot weekend in July with good light breezes and we had 4 classic Finns attending. The Finn Inlands was a lot windier and we had 4 Classics and 1 Classic with Carbon.

I’m inviting comments on this format so that I can decide if we do the same next year or if we want to do something different. It will remain the case of course that all classic Finns are welcome at any BFA or CVRDA event.

Thanks for your work on this, I think same again next year is probably the best plan, consistency might help to build numbers… though I’m open to other ideas if suggestions come in.

I think the associate membership for those only with classics is a great idea and I know the other Finn sailor at my club is interested in this if he has the time to travel to events like oxford in the future.
