Classic Taylor with Carbon Mast For Sale

Classic with Carbon. 1973 Taylor Finn. K473 (or should that be GBR473?)

Double bottom, built-in wing buoyancy tanks, she was brought back from the ‘dead’ a couple of seasons ago and has been doing sterling service as a club racer. Fitted with a carbon mast gate, she has been sailed as a full classic with an aluminium mast as well as with a carbon wing mast; the gate is set up with the range for both.

While she may not be the prettiest, she is basically sound and has been well set up with new Harken throughout. Again maybe not the fastest anymore, but in the right hands she is a very capable club racer and would make an excellent starter boat, especially with the full package on offer:

HIT wing mast. It has been professionally repaired, but is overall in very good condition. I don’t have the numbers, but it would suit someone 90-100kg. Mast bag.
2 North sails cut to this mast. They have seen better days, but will get you started.
